Hankook America Promotes Sicking to Senior Director Role

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Feb. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Hankook Tire America Corp. has announced that tire industry veteran Jim Sicking will now serve as the company's senior director of PCLT sales. In his new role, Sicking assumes oversight of all replacement tire sales at the company.

Sicking has nearly three decades of sales experience in the automotive industry. He brought more than a decade of tire-industry experience to Hankook when the company hired him as corporate accounts director last May. Now, Hankook has placed all customer relationships under his leadership.

Industry veteran Jim Sicking has been named senior director of PCLT sales for Hankook Tire America Corp.

With the move, Hankook aims to deepen its relationships with customers by optimizing its market approach in line with the company's sales strategies. The move is part of a broader market penetration strategy that includes the opening of the company's first North American manufacturing plant in Tennessee, which took place last October.

At peak capacity, the company will produce 5.5 million tires per year at the plant – supply that will help the company satisfy growing demand for its products.
