Hyundai’s New Ad Campaign with Parker Posey Proves the All-New Palisade Really Is “All That And More”

The ad features Parker Posey driving the Palisade Hybrid1 through various situations that are stereotypically depicted in car commercials including conquering absurd obstacles, going off road, driving a group of friends on a night out, automatically stopping for a road obstacle, taking the family on a camping trip and traveling with pets. Parker Posey comically shows how the Palisade can handle all of these situations and more. Through all of the situations, the ad highlights the premium design and roomy interior, advanced technology, and industry-leading safety features of the Palisade.

In addition to the 60-second broadcast ad airing during professional football's first game of the season on Sept. 4, the campaign will be supported by 30- and 15-second ads as well as custom social media content featuring Parker Posey. The fully integrated campaign will be featured throughout the rest of the year across social media, broadcast, streaming, audio, digital and programmatic platforms.
As part of Hyundai's commitment to advertising in live sports, the ad will be featured across various upcoming sports programing including football, professional basketball, college football, and soccer. It will also be extended with custom digital content across Hyundai's social media channels TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, as well as direct-to-consumer marketing and HyundaiUSA.com.
The ad was directed by Emmy-award winner Brian Buckley.
