Jackson Hewitt® Encourages Taxpayers to Help 'Give Kids The World'

PARSIPPANY, N.J., Jan. 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- With the 2013 tax season now here, many taxpayers are gathering their documents and meeting with their local tax preparers. But for many who choose Jackson Hewitt Tax Service^®, the nation's largest privately held tax preparation firm, they will be helping to make the lives of some children better during this tax season.

Partnering with the Give Kids The World (GKTW) charity, participating offices of Jackson Hewitt will help bring children with life-threatening illnesses and their families to the Give Kids The World Village, a 70-acre, nonprofit "storybook" resort located near Central Florida's most beloved attractions. While at the resort, families are treated to week-long, cost-free fantasy vacations, complete with villa accommodations, transportation, meals and donated tickets to area attractions and much more.    

From January 2 through April 15, 2013, taxpayers can visit the Jackson Hewitt® website to print out a coupon for a $30 discount off tax preparation*. Then when they visit a participating local Jackson Hewitt office, they simply submit the coupon when they have their taxes prepared and Jackson Hewitt will donate $3 to Give Kids The World.
