KOHLER Engines Showcases New Products at GIE+EXPO 2016

At this year's show, KOHLER® Engines once again showcased several new engines designed to deliver outstanding fuel efficiency and excellent overall performance to users of consumer and commercial lawn mowers as well as other outdoor power equipment. Recent innovations from KOHLER Engines highlighted at GIE+EXPO 2016 include:
7500 Series EFI Engine
Kohler's new 7500 EFI Engine is the company's first ever twin-cylinder engine with Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) technology designed specifically for consumer lawn mowers, including lawn tractors and zero-turn radius (ZTR) mowers. The company's closed-loop EFI system delivers several end user benefits, including automotive-like turnkey starting and optimized fuel efficiency.
7000 Series PRO Engine
Kohler's 7000 Series PRO Engine integrates features previously available only to commercial users, including a professional-grade cylindrical air filter. The new air filter, which helps to keep dirt and debris out of the engine while also enhancing service intervals, is more than double the size of the filters used on the other engines in Kohler's 7000 Series. Additional features include a three-year consumer/one-year commercial warranty, upgradable oil and fuel filters, and Kohler's exclusive Consistent-Cut™ technology, which helps to maintain engine speed in tough mowing conditions for a cleaner, better-looking turf cut.
UTV Engines
Kohler continues to offer a range of both gasoline and diesel engines for utility task vehicle (UTV) applications. As interest in UTVs continues to grow among landscapers and other green industry pros, several leading UTV manufacturers are turning to models from KOHLER Engines including the gas-powered CH395, CH440, ECH440, and Aegis EFI as well as the diesel-fueled KDW1003 and KDW993T engines.
ECH440LE Engine
KOHLER Engines also introduced the ECH440LE at GIE+EXPO 2016. This engine is a modified version of the popular KOHLER Command PRO EFI ECH440 with new, lower emission outputs. The ECH440LE significantly reduces emissions, including Carbon Monoxide (CO) and Nitrogen Oxide (NOx), without sacrificing engine performance. The ECH440LE's integrated catalytic exhaust system, in combination with Kohler's closed-loop EFI system, helps to lower harmful emissions while also offering the many benefits of Kohler's EFI technology.
