Managed Health Care Associates, Inc. (MHA) Awarded Commonwealth of Massachusetts GPO Contract

FLORHAM PARK, N.J., Sept. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Managed Health Care Associates, Inc. (MHA), a leading health care service company focused on alternate site  health care providers, is proud to announce  MHA's award of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts' statewide contract (SWC) HSP36: Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) for Medical Commodities and Equipment.  The agreement, to begin September 1, 2012 continues through June 30, 2014, and facilitates the Commonwealth of Massachusetts' use of MHA's GPO agreements for the purchase of medical surgical commodities through participating local distributors, and national providers within the Commonwealth.  The GPO contracts also give the Commonwealth access to MHA's GPO agreements for direct purchases of medical equipment including healthcare equipment, furniture, furnishings and related services.
