BETHESDA, Md., June 23 /PRNewswire/ -- IDG's Computerworld has selected Marriott International, Inc., (NYSE: MAR) as one of the "Best Places to Work in IT" for the eighth consecutive year. Marriott was ranked number 23 overall and was the only lodging company recognized.
Computerworld highlighted Marriott's use of technology to enable associates the opportunity to connect to the corporate networks safely and securely from any remote location. The high-speed remote-access platform gives associates access to Marriott network drives, the corporate e-mail system and intranet, and more than 60 business applications.
