Meijer mPerks Monday features Big Savings

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., Nov. 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Midwestern retailer Meijer is bringing back its incredibly popular 20 percent off mPerks coupon on Cyber Monday, enabling its customers to go digital for even more savings.

Last year, customers saved nearly $1 million thanks to the Grand Rapids, Mich.-based retailer's mPerks Monday offering. The mPerks Monday promotion includes a 20 percent off coupon through mPerks that can be used in-store on one electronics, apparel or general merchandise item.

"We are excited to continue to spread cheer after the Thanksgiving holiday by offering savings to our customers on everything from tablets to gaming bundles and smart LED TVs," said Michael Ross, vice president of digital shopping and customer marketing. "Our mPerks program has nearly 4 million subscribers, and those customers have a great opportunity to save a lot of money inside our stores on products that they might otherwise seek out online."

Ross said items that are expected to be most highly sought following the Black Friday shopping weekend include streaming devices like the new Apple TV, Vizio and Samsung Smart LED TVs, iPads, Amazon Fire Tablets, Fitbit activity trackers, and connected home devices.

Customers can use the 20 percent off mPerks Monday coupon with other Personalized Rewards. Meijer credit card customers, who have a 15 percent off reward coupon, can also use it in addition to the mPerks Monday promotion for even more savings. New credit card customers signing up in-store can also get an additional 10 percent off their purchase. The mPerks Monday coupon will be available for mPerks subscribers to clip Nov. 29-30, and will only be available for use on Cyber Monday.

Meijer mPerks subscribers will be able to add the mPerks Monday promotion to the list of savings opportunities mPerks will provide to them this holiday season. Meijer will offer dozens of different promotions throughout the holiday season through mPerks, saving subscribers up to 15 percent more in addition to our everyday low prices and sales. In fact, since the beginning of 2014, mPerks members have saved more than $130 million through the program's coupons and personalized rewards.

Signing up for mPerks is fast, easy and free, and customers can get even easier access to mPerks through the Meijer mobile app, which is free to download in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. More customers are downloading the app each day and using the free wi-fi at Meijer stores to take advantage of the hundreds of available mPerks offers while they shop.
