MHA Released Results of Third Annual Independent Long Term Care Member Study

FLORHAM PARK, N.J., March 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Managed Health Care Associates, Inc. (MHA) announced the completion of its third annual Independent Long Term Care Member Study, the results of which were released at the 2010 MHA Long Term Care Business Summit, March 5, 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This study was first introduced in 2008 to provide MHA members and other industry stakeholders with additional insight into the operations of independent long term care pharmacies nationwide.  As evidence of MHA's continued commitment to the industry, the 2010 study was enhanced with more detailed information reported by MHA member participants and supported by MHA's Pharmaceutical Data Services (PDS) dispensing data.  Study highlights presented participant data by demographic, financial, and technology categories as well as by number of residents serviced and geographic region.

An overview of results, methodology and discussion of impact was delivered at the 2010 conference via open forum allowing time for audience Q&A.
