NJ Company Gives Back: iCIMS Employees Step Away from Their Keyboards and Pitch in to Help Clean Up Local State Park

MATAWAN, N.J., June 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of its ongoing effort to support local environmental causes, iCIMS, Inc., a leading provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) talent acquisition software solutions for growing businesses, is proud to announce that over 50 iCIMS employees took part in a team effort to clean up nearby Cheesequake State Park. The day-long event is part of a series of volunteer programs at iCIMS, called iGIVE Back, where employees are encouraged to step away from their desks and devote a day of service to help the local community.

Participating employees donned their signature iCIMS' red t-shirts and rolled up their sleeves to clean up trash left behind from hikers along the trails and in the picnic areas as well as taking on some manual labor like mulching by the nature center, and restoring damaged trails along the lake. iCIMS CEO, Colin Day, launched the iGIVE Back program in 2006 to promote the protection of local green spaces, support local environmental causes, and help foster a positive, team spirit among iCIMS employees.
