(NYSE: PEP) today declared a quarterly dividend of $0.7525 per share of PepsiCo common stock, a 7.1 percent increase versus the comparable year-earlier period. Today's action is consistent with PepsiCo's previously announced increase in its annualized dividend to $3.01 per share from $2.81 per share, beginning with the June 2016 payment. The quarterly dividend is payable on June 30, 2016 to shareholders of record at the close of business on June 3, 2016. PepsiCo has paid consecutive quarterly cash dividends since 1965, and 2016 marks the company's 44th consecutive annual dividend increase.
Over the past ten years, PepsiCo has returned more than $66 billion to shareholders in the form of dividends and share repurchases.
