Third-year recertification demonstrates ongoing commitment to people and purpose
BLOOMINGTON, Minn., Sept. 3, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Renaissance, a global leader in pre-K–12 education technology, is proud to be certified as a 2025 Great Place To Work®, marking the third consecutive year the company has received this honor. The prestigious award is based entirely on what current employees say about their experience working at Renaissance. Overall, 76% of surveyed employees said Renaissance is a great place to work—nearly 20 points higher than a typical US-based company.
"At Renaissance, our mission calls for us to make a positive impact not only for our students, but for our employees and the communities we serve," said Chris Bauleke, Chief Executive Officer at Renaissance. "That is why we are committed to accelerating learning for all by building a Renaissance for all."
The survey's top-scoring categories focused on organizational justice, work-life balance, and psychological safety, demonstrating Renaissance's focus on both people and purpose. Employee comments referenced "mission," "people," and "team" more frequently than other terms.
Other insights include:
- Renaissance creates a friendly environment, with 92% of surveyed employees feeling welcomed after joining the company.
- Renaissance culture respects work-life balance; 93% of employees say they can take time off work when necessary, and 87% say they are encouraged to balance work and personal life.
- Employees feel cared for, as 88% of employees say people at Renaissance care about each other.
To foster a positive social impact and people-focused culture, Renaissance initiatives build a collaborative workplace where all employees feel valued, create inclusive and responsive learning experiences, and give back to local communities through volunteerism and by championing sustainability. Additionally, several voluntary, employee-led communities foster connection, mentorship, and shared purpose across the organization.
"We're honored that Renaissance continues to be a Great Place To Work-Certified™ company for the third year in a row," said Kim Mitchell, Chief People Officer at Renaissance. "This recertification is possible because of our dedicated employees, and it shows how our employees come together around our shared mission."
According to Great Place To Work research, job seekers are 4.5 times more likely to find a great boss at a certified great workplace. Employees at certified workplaces are 93% more likely to look forward to coming to work and are twice as likely to be paid fairly, earn a fair share of the company's profits, and have a fair chance at promotion.
