WATERTOWN, Mass., Aug. 16, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Tennessee State University today announced that it has chosen Liaison International, the leading provider of higher education admissions management and enrollment marketing solutions, as its strategic admissions and enrollment marketing partner.
As a part of this collaboration, TSU will provide a better experience to applicants through five of Liaison's Centralized Application Services (CAS™). Prospective graduate management students can now apply for TSU's business programs through BusinessCAS™; Prospective graduate engineering students, through EngineeringCAS; Prospective master's-level social work students, through SocialWorkCAS™; and prospective graduate psychology students, through PSYCAS™. All of TSU's graduate programs that are not affiliated with a national CAS are now members of GradCAS™, which Liaison launched to extend the benefits of a CAS to those not served by a professional association-based service.
When applying through a CAS, TSU applicants have access to a user-friendly application and a convenient single portal to discover all available programs of potential interest. Applicants can easily apply to multiple programs with one set of materials and track the status of their applications in real time. Since these services facilitate program discovery by providing students with a central directory, each CAS will expand TSU's global applicant pool, helping admissions professionals find and engage more and higher quality students as they build their next class. Liaison's processing team will now take on what were previously burdensome administrative tasks, creating more time for these professionals to focus on holistic application review.
In addition to joining the five CASs, Tennessee State also now leverages Liaison's Enrollment Marketing Platform (EMP™), a cloud-based solution that helps admissions offices deliver highly personalized communications to prospective students. The intuitive platform scales outreach, giving admissions officers time to engage authentically with a greater number of contacts. Through its 360-view of campaign performance and robust time management features, programs that leverage EMP save money and time while determining which applicants are the best fit for their schools.
"This strategic partnership will help us drive enrollments, and it will increase the accessibility of our educational opportunities for students," said Dr. Robbie Melton, interim dean of TSU's Graduate School. "We are excited that each CAS will provide TSU applicants with a one-stop customized admissions portal that offers them more control over their applications, and our admissions office is looking forward to using EMP to expand our applicant pool through targeted, automated and trackable recruitment marketing campaigns."
Liaison's Founder and CEO George Haddad added: "At Liaison, we are committed to helping universities like TSU build strong, holistic pipelines of applicants with diverse backgrounds and skills. We are excited to use our over two decades of experience in the admissions space to support this University, and we look forward to continuing to expand our relationship."
