Travelers Can Earn Up to 5 Free Nights(1) This Fall with the Choice Privileges Visa Signature® Card

SILVER SPRING, Md., Aug. 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- This fall, consumers can earn up to five free nights at more than 1,500 Choice Hotels locations with an exclusive offer for the no annual fee Choice Privileges Visa Signature card, featuring fast earning power and an automatic upgrade to Elite Gold status.

Travelers that apply for the card before November 3, 2011 can be awarded up to 24,000 bonus points after their first purchase(2) and an additional 16,000 bonus points after their first paid stay(3). That's enough points for five free nights at over 1,500 Choice Hotels properties.

The Choice Privileges Visa Signature card is issued by Barclaycard US, the payments business of Barclays in the United States.

Cardholders will also earn points faster, getting 15 points for every $1 spent at 4,200 Choice Privileges locations(4) worldwide and 5 points per $1 spend on additional points or Choice Hotels gift cards(5). In addition, cardholders can earn two Choice Privileges points for every $1 spent on everyday purchases such as gas and groceries -- twice the points earned on most other hotel credit cards.

Earning Points at Choice Privileges Locations - Cardmembers will earn 10 points per dollar with eligible MainStay Suites, Suburban Extended Stay, Econo Lodge and Rodeway Inn property stays based on 5 points per dollar earned through the Choice Privileges membership and 5 points per dollar charged to the Choice Privileges Visa card linked to the same membership. Eligible stays at all other Choice Privileges locations will earn 15 points per dollar based on 10 points per dollar earned through the Choice Privileges membership and 5 points per dollar charged to the Choice Privileges Visa card linked to the same membership.
