W. P. Carey Inc. Announces Pricing of Euro 500 Million of Senior Unsecured Notes
NEW YORK, Jan. 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- W. P. Carey Inc. (NYSE: WPC) announced today that it has priced an underwritten public offering of €500 million aggregate principal amount of 2.000% Senior Notes due January 20, 2023 (the "Notes"). The Notes were offered at 99.220% of the principal amount.
Interest on the Notes will be paid annually on January 20 of each year, beginning on January 20, 2016. The offering of the Notes is expected to settle on January 21, 2015, subject to customary closing conditions. W. P. Carey Inc. intends to use the net proceeds from this offering to repay amounts outstanding under its senior unsecured credit facility, to fund potential future acquisitions and for general corporate purposes.
J.P. Morgan Securities plc, Barclays Bank PLC and Citigroup Global Markets Limited acted as joint book-running managers for the Notes offering.
