VERO BEACH, Fla., June 29, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Residents, associates, and community members gathered last weekend for a classic car show at Watercrest Newnan Assisted Living and Memory Care to support the Alzheimer's Association's global initiative, 'The Longest Day.' The longest day of the year is the day with the most light, therefore 'The Longest Day' initiative symbolizes the unity of participants to fight the darkness of Alzheimer's through various activities and fundraising events.

Watercrest Newnan Assisted Living and Memory Care hosted a classic car show and fundraising event to benefit the Alzheimer's Association's initiative, 'The Longest Day.'

The event attracted community members supporting the fundraising for the Alzheimer's Association, enjoying the line-up of classic automobiles, and honoring their loved ones on Father's Day weekend. Car enthusiasts admired the variety of automobiles, while kids and grownups alike lined up for a treat from the TCBY vintage food truck.
