Wichita Falls Welcomes Natural Grocers

DENVER, Dec. 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage^® (NYSE: NGVC) is announcing the grand opening of its newest Texas location in the new Town Square Shopping Center at 3910 Lawrence Rd in Wichita Falls. The store opens for business on Thursday, December 5.

Natural Grocers, based in Colorado, offers free nutritional health coaching to its customers—including individualized nutrition sessions, meal planning, and other guidance about nutrition and health. Wichita Falls Natural Grocers will offer its first free cooking class in the store's demonstration kitchen on Thursday, December 5^th at 6:00 p.m. Nationally recognized nutrition expert Cary Tamburro, BS, will show how to make "Smoothies to Jump Start Your Health." She will demonstrate organic, gluten-free and dairy-free options.   On opening day, there will be various cooking demos including ideas for Paleo wraps.

Natural Grocers offers only carefully approved natural and organic groceries on its shelves, and only sells USDA certified organic produce.  Meats are sourced from animals raised naturally without the use of antibiotics or hormones. The affordable grocery chain also offers an extensive natural dietary supplement and body care department. Stores offer a large selection of gluten-free and other products for special diets. Local products are emphasized.

Wichita Falls Natural Grocers will be open Monday through Saturday from 8:56 a.m. to 8:04 pm. On Sunday the store will be open from 9:56 a.m. to 7:06 p.m. Come a little early, come a little late, customers are welcome inside.
