Xenia Hotels & Resorts Announces Opening Of The Grand Bohemian Hotel Charleston In Charleston, South Carolina

ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 31, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Xenia Hotels & Resorts, Inc. (NYSE: XHR) ("Xenia" or the "Company") today announced the addition of the Grand Bohemian Hotel Charleston, an Autograph Collection hotel located in the heart of the historic district in Charleston, South Carolina, to its portfolio of operating hotels. The hotel opened after a festive ribbon-cutting ceremony on August 27, 2015. The 50-room luxury boutique hotel is surrounded by local landmarks, shopping and dining. The hotel incorporates diverse offerings including 3,000 square feet of meeting/event space, a fitness center, an on-site Grand Bohemian Gallery, wine tasting room, a unique wine-blending experience, a specialty coffee shop, as well as a rooftop restaurant, Élevé, and terrace providing beautiful views of the city.

The property was developed by a joint venture between Kessler Meeting Street and Xenia as majority owner and will be managed by Kessler Collection Management. Kessler currently manages three other Autograph Collection hotels for the Company, including the Grand Bohemian Hotel Orlando, Bohemian Hotel Savannah Riverfront and Bohemian Hotel Celebration. Xenia and the Kessler organization are currently also developing the 100-room Grand Bohemian Hotel Mountain Brook in Birmingham, Alabama. This hotel is anticipated to open in the fourth quarter of this year.
