En 2023, las semanas de la moda de París y Milán siguieron ocupando el primer y segundo lugar con una ventaja significativa, seguidas de cerca por las semanas de la moda de Nueva York y Londres. Le siguen la Semana de la Moda de Shanghái y la Semana Internacional de la Moda de China, mientras que las semanas de la Moda de Tokio y Seúl se sitúan por detrás, según el informe.

En 2018, el Servicio de Información Económica de China (CEIS) creó un sistema de evaluación para la industria de la moda global. El sistema cuantifica el valor de vitalidad de las ocho semanas de la moda de muestra del mundo a partir de tres dimensiones que incluyen la agregación de elementos, la comunicación en los medios y el impacto en la industria.
