En 2023, les semaines de la mode de Paris et de Milan occupaient toujours la première et la deuxième place avec un avantage significatif, suivies de près par les semaines de la mode de New York et de Londres. La semaine de la mode de Shanghai et la semaine internationale de la mode de Chine les suivent, tandis que les semaines de la mode de Tokyo et de Séoul se classent derrière elles, selon le rapport.

Les statistiques montrent qu'en 2023, le nombre de marques participant à la Semaine de la mode de Shanghai et à la Semaine internationale de la mode de Chine a augmenté respectivement de 36,6 % et de 61,4 % d'une année sur l'autre, ce qui démontre l'attrait de la nouvelle génération de créateurs chinois.

Dans les trois indicateurs des médias en ligne, de la recherche en ligne et des canaux de réseaux sociaux, la Semaine de la mode de Shanghai s'est classée respectivement quatrième, quatrième et troisième. En s'appuyant sur les plateformes de vidéos courtes et les réseaux sociaux, les salles de diffusion en direct de la semaine de la mode de Shanghai ont fourni aux créateurs une plateforme d'exposition.

En 2023, parmi les huit principales semaines de la mode, Shanghai, China International et Paris Fashion Weeks comptaient le plus grand nombre de créateurs, soit 38,2 %, 20,6 % et 19 % respectivement, ce qui dépassait de loin les autres semaines de la mode.

Sous l'effet de la croissance des marques et des préférences esthétiques des consommateurs, un grand nombre de marques de créateurs indépendantes ont vu le jour en Chine, et de plus en plus de créateurs créeront leur propre entreprise à l'avenir.

Le rapport montre qu'avec l'essor mondial du contenu généré par l'intelligence artificielle (AIGC), celui-ci a été largement appliqué au lancement de nouveaux produits, à la conception de produits et à la promotion d'événements dans l'industrie de la mode.

Le rapport suggère que Shanghai crée un marché de la mode interactif diversifié, tel que des pop-up stores et des ateliers créatifs pour le public, et déploie davantage de produits et de services de bonne qualité.

En 2018, le Service d'information économique de Chine (CEIS) a élaboré un système d'évaluation de l'industrie mondiale de la mode. Le système quantifie la valeur de la vitalité des huit semaines de la mode dans le monde à partir de trois dimensions : l'agrégation des éléments, la communication avec les médias et l'impact sur l'industrie.
