Sicher, free encrypted messenger made by German IM+ team
STUTTGART, Germany, June 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, SHAPE GmbH, a German startup known through IM+, launched Sicher, a brand new, free iOS, Android and Windows Phone messenger for encrypted communication.
Sicher is a German word for both "safe" and "secure" and it's pronounced similar to "Zee-her".
Sicher is based on the idea that a modern messenger should incorporate both encrypted communication and usability. Being independent and trustworthy are also values which are crucial for a messenger provider.
"We at SHAPE are the mobile messaging pioneers since 2002, and we continue to innovate everyday," says Igor Berezovsky, the CEO. "Sicher unites encrypted text, audio and document transfer, and allows its users to configure the timeframe for self destructing messages. We work super hard on new updates, which will bring stickers and other cool communication features to Sicher users in the near future."
The servers of Sicher are based in Germany, and since its founding, Shape has always been a "Made in Germany" company, with superior quality mobile apps including IM+ and Business Card Reader.
