Ad Hoc Group of Marelli Lenders Announces Plan to Appoint Bram Schot as Future Company Chair

GREENWICH, Conn., Nov. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The Ad Hoc Group of lenders to Marelli, a global mobility technology supplier to the automotive industry, today announced that Abraham ("Bram") Schot will join as Chair of the Board of Directors of Marelli upon the company's emergence from Chapter 11 and once all conditions precedent to the restructuring have been satisfied.

As Chair, Mr. Schot will support Marelli's Chief Executive Officer Laurent Favre and leadership team in delivering the company's strategic priorities. Most recently he was CEO of Audi and has previously held senior roles for over three decades in the automotive industry across Mercedes-Benz then the Volkswagen Group.

In addition, Mr. Schot will bring to Marelli's board significant board experience. He currently serves as Independent Non-executive Deputy Chairman of Shell; Non-executive Director of Signify; Non-executive Director of Cognizant; and Non-executive Deputy Chairman of Compagnie Financière Richemont SA. He is also a Senior Advisor at the Carlyle Group.
