AIsphere Officially Opens Hong Kong Office at Cyberport, Building an AI Hub for the City
More than a workplace, its Hong Kong office is positioned as an AI hub serving local enterprises, government bodies, universities, and creators.
HONG KONG, Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- AIsphere, a leading global AI video generation company, today announced the official opening of its Hong Kong office at Cyberport. AIsphere is one of the first AI video model companies to establish an office in Hong Kong. More than a workplace, the office is positioned as an AI hub serving local enterprises, government bodies, universities, and creators. The office is operational as of today, and the company plans to hire more local staff and host industry-focused events, building a Hong Kong base that brings together creators, universities, and industry partners.
Jaden Xie, Co-founder and President of AIsphere, was joined at the ribbon-cutting ceremony by Arnold Lau, the Acting Director-General of Investment Promotion, Invest HK; Dr Rocky Cheng, Chief Executive Officer of Cyberport; Dickson Yeung, Deputy Chief Manager (AI and Data Science), Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises (OASES); and a senior representative of the Hong Kong Productivity Council, together with representatives of Hong Kong technology companies, financial institutions, universities, and the wider community.
Partnerships across industry, education, and community
The HKSAR Government recently published its Policy Address and first five-year plan (2026–2030), setting a clear direction for Hong Kong's AI industry: bringing AI to every sector, advancing the "AI+" initiative, building computing infrastructure, and raising public AI literacy.
Against this backdrop, AIsphere is supporting the vision of Hong Kong as a city where AI and data are applied across industries, public services, and creative work. At the launch, the company unveiled the "AIsphere Hong Kong • AI for Business Co-Creation Programme", an open invitation to partners across the city.
"Hong Kong has an international outlook, a solid research base, and a vibrant creative industry. It is an important market in our global expansion," said Xie. "As a company in the HKIC technology ecosystem, we want to become an AI hub connecting industries across Hong Kong. Going forward, we will co-host academic forums on AI video models with local universities, and we hope to work with local enterprises, young people, and creators to put the capabilities of AI video and real-time world models to practical use in industry and creative work."
At the launch, AIsphere signed a series of cooperation agreements to support AI adoption and development in Hong Kong. In industry, it partnered with spatial intelligence company XGRIDS to combine real-world 3D reconstruction with AI video generation for film, tourism, and real estate. In education, the company is working with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) to bring AI video into humanities teaching and responsible-AI practice, and to extend the partnership to internships and joint research.
AIsphere is also focused on putting AI video models to work in social services, so the technology benefits all. The company announced a partnership with the Youth Committee of the Hong Kong Fujian Sanming Association to run AI literacy talks, creative workshops, and visits to technology companies for members of the Fujianese community and young people in Hong Kong. It is also working with the Hong Kong Youth New Vision Association, a local community organisation, to explore using AI in community services and youth exchange.
"When people get a clear, hands-on look at what AI can do, they engage with it more confidently," said Dr Pan Yuan, Chief Representative of AIsphere in Hong Kong. "That public understanding is what gives new technology a stable footing, and it is part of building a healthy, lasting base for AI in Hong Kong."
Putting PixVerse models to work across Hong Kong's industries
AIsphere's PixVerse models span cinematic video generation and real-time world models. In January, PixVerse R1 became the world's first real-time world model. Unlike conventional AI video, which is generated from scratch each time, a real-time world model generates visuals and audio on the fly, responding live to user input.
At the opening, AIsphere demonstrated its latest PixVerse R2, a real-time world model with scaling capability. The demos spanned games, interactive film, and digital humans. In each, guests used natural-language commands to change a character, the setting, the shot, or the story in real time.
AIsphere will continue to explore how the PixVerse models can serve Hong Kong's major industries. In film and television, where the city has deep heritage, the models let creators quickly see an idea as video so that teams can test and pitch without a full production budget, lowering the barrier for creators and helping Hong Kong stories reach global audiences. In cultural tourism, real-time world models can generate interactive guides and personalised content for attractions and museums. In advertising and e-commerce, brand content can respond instantly to viewers, turning audiences into participants and helping local businesses reach new markets.
"With our Hong Kong office, we will deepen the integration of our technology with local use cases, continue hosting industry exchanges and creator events, and work with partners across the industry to support the healthy growth of generative AI," said Xie. In mainland China, AIsphere has already explored short dramas, animation, variety-show visuals, and interactive film-games with content partners such as Mango Media, and has partnered with Alibaba, Giant Network Group, China Ruyi, BlueFocus, and 37 Interactive Entertainment. This experience will also inform the company's partnership expansion in Hong Kong.
