Ampace and TDK, Jointly Participate in the World Smart Energy Week in Japan

— High Safety, High Reliability, and Full Lifecycle Services to Support Japan's Carbon Neutral Future

TOKYO, Feb. 19, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- From February 19 to 21, 2025, Ampace and TDK jointly showcase a full range of energy storage solutions at World Smart Energy Week Japan. With Japan's increasing focus on renewable energy, Ampace introduces high-safety, high-reliability solutions designed for residential, C&I, and UPS applications, supported by TDK's localized lifecycle services.

Unparalleled Safety & Seismic Reliability

Japan's earthquake-prone environment demands exceptional thermal runaway protection and seismic resistance. Ampace's Kunlun 2.0 GT40 cells feature ultra-stable LFP chemistry and ceramic-coated separators, minimizing fire risks. The UniC DG500 cabinet integrates thermal insulation, triple safety detection (smoke, temperature, CO gas sensors), and an aerosol-based fire suppression system, achieving Japan-specific JET propagation test certification.

To address seismic concerns, UniC DG500 employs pressurized modules and shock-absorbing design, successfully deployed in Japan's industrial projects.

Maximizing Economic Value with Extended Lifespan

For commercial and industrial users, cost-effectiveness is key. Kunlun cells ensure 15,000+ cycles, maintaining 80% SOH for over 20 years, reducing replacement and maintenance costs. With -20°C to 60°C adaptability, Ampace's solutions ensure stable performance under extreme conditions.

TDK's Localized Expertise: Full Lifecycle Support

Ampace and TDK provide comprehensive support, from safety testing to warehousing, rapid response, and end-of-life(EOL) management. TDK's multi-purpose combustion testing labs ensure products meet Japan's strict energy standards.
