Clean Bio Korea to Showcase Indonesia-Validated Air-Fit at Hospital Expo 2026

SEOUL, South Korea, Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Clean Bio Co., Ltd, a Korean indoor air quality solutions company, will showcase Air-Fit, its air purification, sterilization and deodorization solution, at Indonesia Int'l Hospital Expo 2026, taking place October 7–10, 2026.

Air-Fit has conducted a pilot project under real-world conditions in Indonesia. Clean Bio deployed 100 Air-Fit units in Deli Serdang, North Sumatra.

The units were installed across healthcare and public health facilities, educational institutions and government facilities to assess their applicability in local environments. The project produced meaningful results in improving indoor air quality and hygiene conditions, demonstrating Air-Fit's potential for use in hospitals, healthcare facilities, government facilities and other public-use spaces.

Air-Fit combines three key functions in one system: purification, sterilization and deodorization. It removes fine particulate matter and other indoor air pollutants, reduces airborne bacteria and viruses, and helps reduce odors, harmful gases and odor-causing substances. Together, these functions provide a comprehensive indoor air quality solution beyond conventional air purification.

Air-Fit incorporates Ag-TiO₂ photocatalyst technology transferred from the Korea Photonics Technology Institute (KOPTI). The nanoparticle-based technology is designed to improve photocatalytic reaction efficiency and sterilization performance. It also uses the latest primer technology to enable more stable coating of photocatalyst nanoparticles on surfaces.

Compared with conventional coating methods, this approach improves coating durability by helping prevent peeling or detachment, allowing sterilization performance to be maintained more consistently over time. Air-Fit combines UV-C LEDs with Ag-TiO₂ photocatalyst technology to manage airborne microorganisms and pollutants.

Air-Fit incorporates multiple patents related to its product structure and air circulation technology, while Clean Bio has secured international certifications and related certification frameworks, including ISO, CE for Europe and PSE for Japan. Based on these capabilities, Air-Fit is being exported and commercialized in markets including Indonesia, Vietnam, Spain, Japan, Mongolia, Thailand and Taiwan region. Clean Bio has also conducted a pilot project in Hanoi, Vietnam, building additional experience in local application and operation.

At Indonesia Int'l Hospital Expo 2026, Clean Bio will present Air-Fit, its related technologies and case studies from its pilot project in Indonesia, giving representatives from hospitals and medical institutions, medical device companies, distribution companies, and government and public institutions the opportunity to see the product and technology firsthand.
