From Factory Floor to Global Enterprise: Ching-Sheng Kuo's Entrepreneurial Journey Recognized at Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards 2026 Taiwan

TAIPEI, Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Chia Cherne Industry Co., Ltd.'s President Ching-Sheng Kuo has been recognized as a Master Entrepreneur at the Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards (APEA) 2026 Taiwan, organized by Enterprise Asia. His entrepreneurial journey began on the factory floor, where he worked alongside employees from a young age and gained a firsthand understanding of the challenges facing Taiwanese manufacturers. The experience strengthened his belief that Taiwanese manufacturers could build on their craftsmanship and create greater value in global markets.

Kuo's hands-on approach continues to define his leadership. While overseeing Chia Cherne's factory in mainland China, he once worked alongside employees assembling brake cables, matching the pace of experienced technicians. For Kuo, leading by example carries greater weight than simply giving instructions. This philosophy has remained central to how he approaches modernization, transformation, and people development.

Under his leadership, Chia Cherne has evolved from its bicycle-component roots into an international enterprise with several proprietary brands. In 2007, Kuo introduced the Toyota Production System and led the company into the A-Team manufacturing alliance, significantly improving production capacity despite initial internal resistance. He later anticipated changes in the bicycle industry and launched the CoolJag brand and its thermal-management products in 2010, expanding into solutions for industrial computers and servers. In 2019, he launched the RIDEREVER brand and its hydraulic disc-brake products for the growing e-bike market.

Today, Chia Cherne employs more than 300 people and has operations in Taiwan and mainland China and serves international markets. Kuo has also advanced the company's sustainability efforts, initiating greenhouse gas inventories and carbon-footprint tracking in 2018 ahead of regulatory requirements.

Through courage, hands-on leadership, and a willingness to pursue change, Kuo has transformed challenges into opportunities for long-term growth. His journey reflects an entrepreneurial approach grounded in craftsmanship, innovation, and continuous improvement.
