FUJIFILM Business Innovation Propels its Sustainability Initiatives with Remanufactured Multifunction Printers in Asia Pacific

Introduces Resource-recycled Multifunction Digital Printers, ApeosPort-VI C5571 R and C3371 R

SINGAPORE, Sept. 14, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- FUJIFILM Business Innovation Asia Pacific launches two remanufactured^*1 A3 colour digital multifunction printers, ApeosPort-VI C5571 R and C3371 R from the ApeosPort-VI C series. The printers were developed based on the principle of treating used products as valuable resources instead of as waste. Sales will commence from 15 September in the Asia Pacific region^*2.

In a circular economy, it is paramount to maintain the quality and consistency of materials used in recycled products. FUJIFILM Business Innovation is committed to sustainable development and has been bolstering its environmental strategy with various initiatives, such as collecting used products from users to adopt a closed-loop system. The remanufactured printer series reduce environmental impact with their parts reuse rate of 84% (by weight), and CO₂ emissions reduced to 56% as compared to newly manufactured printers^*3 throughout their product lifecycles.
