Kinetics Expands Fleet with Acquisition of Vessel for Conversion into New FSRU

LONDON, Sept. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Kinetics today announced its decision to further expand its LNG infrastructure fleet through the conversion of the LNG carrier Arctic Voyager into a Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) to be named LNGT Akdeniz.

Once converted, LNGT Akdeniz will be a multi-spec FSRU with storage capacity of approximately 143,000 cbm and a regasification flow rate of 650 mmscfd, with Moss-type cargo tanks and an expected economic life of 20 years. It will complement Kinetics' existing fleet by providing utility-scale regasification capacity, together with the flexibility to serve a wide range of project configurations. Delivery of the converted vessel is expected in Q3 2028.
