TOKYO, Sept. 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The first live concert, "MECHATU-A 1st LIVE 'Over Drive!'," taking place at K-Arena Yokohama in Yokohama, Japan, on Saturday, October 10, 2026, will be broadcast live to theaters in Taiwan region, Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand.

The eight-member group — consisting of Saiki Ittetsu, Akagi Wen, Usami Rito, Hibachi Mana, Hoshirube Sho, Murakumo Kagetsu, Koyanagi Rou and Inami Rai — is made up of VTubers from NIJISANJI, a group of VTubers/virtual livestreamers (known as "Virtual Livers" in the NIJISANJI sphere). Formed around a cohesive "heroes" concept, MECHATU-A debuted the first half, Oriens, in March 2023 and quickly gained popularity through a combination of gaming, comedic group variety streams, and music activities. The other half, Dytica, that debuted in April 2023 further consolidated the group's large following.

The group has also established a strong reputation for their musical chemistry, with their energetic signature track "MECHA-MECHA" surpassing 1 million views on YouTube shortly after its release.

Building on their growing presence, MECHATU-A released their first mini-album "On-Deck!" in July 2026, featuring tracks including "The Hearties" and "PEACE MARK". The successful release further highlights the group's diverse musicality and dynamic performances.

Following the mini-album's release, MECHATU-A will hold their first-ever in-person concert in Yokohama, Japan scheduled to take place on 10 October 2026.
