NEC Indonesia Showcases Smart Manufacturing Solutions at Indonesia 4.0 Conference & Expo

NEC is also introducing Work Process Recognition (WPR), an AI-based solution that detects manual work processes through video recordings. By analyzing hand movements and surrounding areas, WPR learns work patterns from a few video samples and accurately recognizes dozens of different manual tasks. The solution helps factories monitor work duration, identify process bottlenecks, and enhance productivity.

Another solution on display is Smart IoT Box, developed in collaboration with BogorTech. The Smart IoT Box is an AI- and IoT-based production system that analyzes sensor data in real-time to improve operational efficiency and factory productivity.
