HONG KONG, Nov. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Payment Asia Group ("Payment Asia" or "Group") and G+D China signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at Hong Kong FinTech Week today to explore collaboration on TruSafe wallet solutions and agentic payment technologies across Hong Kong, Macao, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada.
As AI continues to expand into business decision-making and workflows, while blockchain creates new opportunities for digital assets and Web3, payment infrastructure must balance convenience, security, and user authorization. This collaboration aims to address this need by combining Payment Asia's ecosystem and merchant network with G+D China's proposed technology solutions to explore more accessible payment infrastructure for AI and Web3 applications.
Under the MoU, the parties will evaluate technologies that enhance the security and usability of digital asset payments, including TruSafe's cold wallet solution and capabilities that enable AI-driven payment experiences. TruSafe's solution allows users to securely store and manage digital assets while maintaining control of their private keys through a card-based wallet and companion mobile application.
The companies will also assess agentic payment technology, which enables AI agents to generate payment instructions, coordinate payment workflows, and integrate with existing payment services in accordance with user authorization and predefined rules. When combined with authorization management, risk controls, and transaction records, these technologies could reduce repetitive manual processes and enhance operational efficiency.
"AI and Web3 are changing how businesses operate and transact," said Paul Tang, Chief Operating Officer of Payment Asia Group. "Payment infrastructure needs to keep pace so that new technologies can become part of everyday commerce. Through this MoU with G+D China, we aim to integrate payment services expertise with digital security technology, explore more accessible payment connections, and help businesses pursue next-generation digital commerce opportunities."
"From cold wallet cards to AI agents participating in payment workflows, the value of innovation lies in making technology easier to use while keeping users in control of their assets and transactions," said Jerry Hu, China CTO and Global Lead of TruSafe, representing G+D China. "Through our collaboration with Payment Asia, we hope to align security technology with business needs and build a more reliable technical foundation for AI and Web3 applications."
The MoU marks the beginning of further discussions on product applications and technical integration. By combining payment expertise, digital security technology, and emerging AI and Web3 capabilities, the two companies will explore new opportunities for global digital commerce.
