PROMISE Technology Presents Thunderbolt™ 5 Certified & AI-Optimized Storage at Inter BEE

TAIPEI, Nov. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- As Japan's content industry reaches a historic high of ¥14.8875 trillion in 2025 and the government sets a bold target of ¥20 trillion in overseas content revenue by 2033, with similar increases across Asia, production and post-production teams face mounting pressure to deliver more high-resolution, multi-camera, and effects-heavy material faster than ever. PROMISE Technology will address this challenge head-on at Inter BEE (November 18–20, Makuhari Messe, Hall 5 Booth No. 5507), as their Pegasus legacy of quality and performance continues with Thunderbolt 5 certified Pegasus5 R12 and R12 Pro.

The surge is especially pronounced in anime, VFX, and post-production, where global streaming platforms continue to drive demand for Japanese IP and high-quality original titles. Combined with Japan's pioneering role in 8K production and the rapid adoption of 4K/8K and high-frame-rate workflows, studios now require local storage that can sustain multi-stream ingest, real-time editing, and large-scale data movement without bottlenecks. The Pegasus5 series delivers precisely that capability, offering the bandwidth, capacity, and reliability needed to keep Japan's creative pipeline competitive on the world stage.

At Inter BEE, PROMISE will demonstrate how these Thunderbolt 5 solutions enable Japanese broadcasters and content creators to scale production volume and quality in line with both market growth and national export goals.
