RSMC Highlights Diverse Families Ahead of Taiwan Pride as Same-Sex Couple Shares Fertility Journey

SHENZHEN, SHANGHAI and TAIPEI, Sept. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- As Taiwan's Pride season approaches in late October, diverse families and fertility choices are once again drawing public attention. For LGBTQ+ families considering parenthood, decisions may involve a range of factors, from reproductive options and medical considerations to family planning. The 24th Taiwan LGBT+ Pride will take place in Taipei on October 31, 2026. Ahead of the event, RSMC (Reproductive Science Medical Center) in the United States will conduct a series of exchanges across Asia in October. In addition to an online information session on October 11, RSMC President Dr. Harari will travel to Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing, and Taipei to meet with individuals and families exploring their fertility options.

The October 11 online session will feature Taiwanese same-sex female couple "Boss Pi," who will share their personal journey. From running an egg farm to welcoming children into their family, Boss Pi has experienced a path to parenthood that differs from the traditional family model. During the session, Boss Pi will discuss their experiences with family planning, reproductive choices, and the journey of welcoming children into their family, offering another perspective for families considering parenthood.

RSMC President Dr. Harari will also participate in the online session, introducing IVF and other reproductive medicine technologies available in the United States. He will discuss medical considerations and reproductive options that different families may encounter when planning for parenthood.

In addition to the online event, RSMC physicians will visit Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing, and Taipei from October 10 to 18 for one-on-one medical consultations. Discussions will take into account factors such as age, reproductive history, and individual family circumstances, providing an opportunity for those interested in overseas reproductive medicine to speak directly with a physician.

RSMC notes that overseas reproductive medicine may involve medical decisions, family planning, and cross-border arrangements.
