On September 16, the 14th Forum on China-ASEAN Technology Transfer and Collaborative Innovation (FCATTCI) opened in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Under the theme "Shared AI Shared Success", the FCATTCI centered on the innovative application of artificial intelligence and adopted a three-in-one event framework comprising high-level keynote presentations, multiple thematic seminars, and on-site technology demonstrations.
At the opening ceremony, a series of key cooperation outcomes and mechanisms targeting ASEAN were unveiled. The Achievements of China-ASEAN Innovation Cooperation Center for Artificial Intelligence were Released on site, showcasing the platform's phased progress in advancing resource sharing and collaborative innovation in the AI field between China and ASEAN. It also announced the first 14 "ASEAN Challenges, China (Guangxi) Solutions" AI application scenarios, demonstrating the practical results of Guangxi's development model of "R&D in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou + integration in Guangxi + application in ASEAN." The awards ceremony of the 4th China-ASEAN Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was also held. These practical outcomes will continue to deepen China-ASEAN cooperation in technology transfer, innovation and entrepreneurship, and artificial intelligence.
A series of events will take place, including the opening ceremony and main forum, the 8th ASEAN Plus Three (APT) Young Scientists Forum, the 4th Forum on China-ASEAN AI Cooperation, the China-ASEAN Technology Matchmaking, related seminars, and the China-ASEAN Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition China Tour. It will also run in parallel with Exhibition on Advanced Technology of the 23rd China-ASEAN Expo. Through the "Forum and exhibition Integration" synergy, all parties will spark innovative thinking and build consensus on sci-tech cooperation through dialogue and exchanges, helping to advance the building of the China-ASEAN Innovation Community and inject strong sci-tech momentum into forging a closer China-ASEAN community with a shared future.
