Prestigious Life Sciences Platform and Awards Launch in Tokyo to Celebrate Breakthrough Innovation

TOKYO, Sept. 11, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The Galien Foundation, the premier global institution dedicated to honoring innovators in life sciences, today announced that it will host the first Prix Galien Japan Forum, followed by an Awards Ceremony in the evening, on Thursday, February 25, 2027, at the Hotel New Otani, in Tokyo.

The inaugural event marks the first Prix Galien in Japan, recognizing the most transformative breakthroughs in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical technology, rare and orphan diseases, startup, and digital health solutions, while honoring the companies, researchers, and innovators whose work has altered the course of human health.

Winners are selected by the Prix Galien Japan Awards Committees, comprising leading biomedical scientists and industry executives from Japan and around the world.
