MACAU, June 29, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- Wynn Resorts (Macau) S.A. is proud to announce the prestigious "Wynn Presents - 2023 Macau Snooker Masters", set to take place with the support of the Sports Bureau of the Macao SAR Government. In a collaborative effort with the Macao Billiards General Association and Sailing Up Sports, event management will be overseen by StarMac Entertainment & Production Limited. The highly anticipated event will be held at the Wynn Palace's Grand Theatre from December 25 to 29. Yesterday, organizers gathered for a press conference in the Wynn Palace's Meeting Rooms to unveil the details about the upcoming event. In attendance were five world-class snooker players who traveled to Macau to participate in the conference. During the event, these elite competitors shared insights into their preparations and showcased some of their best shots.

The "Snooker Masters" underscores Wynn's dedication to introducing and hosting top-tier sports events in Macau, with the goal of cultivating a local sport culture infused with unique elements. Meanwhile, Wynn is also committed to offering tourists from around the world experiences that highlight the vibrate and diverse sports appeal in Macau. This initiative promotes the integrated development of tourism and leisure sports industries, ultimately enhancing the offerings available at the global leisure travel center. The Macau Masters stands as the most premier world-class event in Macau, boasting the honor of being the most influential professional snooker tournament. From December 25 to 29, eight world elite snooker players will gather to compete in this exciting four-day event, vying for the champion's prize money of GBP150,000. The impressive roster of invited players includes Mr. Ronnie O'Sullivan, a seven-time World Snooker Championship winner; Mr. Ding Jun Hui, the first Asian player to reach the top of the world snooker ranking; and Mr. Marco Fu, a Hong Kong player recognized as a Global Chinese Outstanding Youth. Additional contestants include Mr. Judd Trump, Mr. Jack Lisowski, Mr. Mark Williams, Mr. Kyren Wilson, and Mr. Si Jia Hui.
