TOKYO, July 14, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- ABeam Consulting Ltd. (Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Takahiro Yamada, President and CEO) and BearingPoint (Amsterdam, Netherlands; Matthias Loebich, Managing Partner) have further strengthened their existing strategic alliance to establish a new structure enabling them to provide global consulting services with high added value. We provide companies that strive for further growth with seamless cross-border support by marshalling our unique global network that includes meticulous consulting services tailored to local business practices and customer agendas, and a Global Capability Center (GCC) that incorporates the digital capabilities of India and already serves as a Center of Excellence (CoE) for business innovation and transformation.

Background

Business uncertainty is increasing not only in Japan, but overseas as well, amid diverse social and economic changes including technological advances, geopolitical risks and climate change. Circumstances like these expose companies to more difficult challenges than ever before, in addition to those they already face. For example, overseas business development requires flexible management decisions immediately responsive to change, as well as the acquisition and redeployment of human resources and the restructuring of global supply chains.

Overview of the new structure

In order to resolve these issues and support companies that aim for global growth, we have established the following structure based on the deep knowledge of BearingPoint, which has been providing consulting services in Europe focused on management and technology, and the strengths and capabilities of ABeam Consulting, a consulting company originating in Asia and Japan with a proven track record in management reform and digital technology transformation in Asia.

• In addition to the focus of our existing alliances on Europe and Asia, we will strengthen our technology consulting capabilities in the Americas, where further transformation and continued business growth are expected. We will expand our system for providing more close-in support for corporate transformation needs, which will enable us to provide meticulous consulting services that consider the business environments, management agendas and business practices specific to each country in every region.
• Regional Capability Centers located in each region provide the capabilities, human resources, and technologies necessary for transformation, while supporting customers with a structure that maximizes value propositions such as quality and cost effectiveness.
• We have already launched services for the financial and manufacturing industries as part of our consulting services that leverage India's rapidly growing human resources, expertise, and digital technology capabilities. This is accomplished through our global Capability Centers established in collaboration with Optimum Solutions, a company with approximately 4,000 employees that has been providing technology services in India for many years and is also an investee of ABeam Consulting.
