Delta Electronics Unveils AI Modular Data Center with 800 VDC In-Row Power for NVIDIA Vera Rubin and Microgrid Solutions at Data Center World Asia 2026

SINGAPORE, Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Delta Electronics, a global leader in power management and smart green solutions, is attending Data Center World (DCW) Asia 2026 with its new AI Modular Data Center (AI MDC) and Microgrid Solutions to accelerate the deployment and enhance the energy efficiency and resilience of AI infrastructure. The prefabricated AI MDC integrates next-gen 800 VDC In-Row Power and liquid cooling systems for the fast deployment and scalability of AI data centers based on NVIDIA Vera Rubin architecture. The Microgrid Solution integrates Delta's renewable energy, energy  storage, and Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) systems, as well as Solid State Transformers (SST), which are essential to directly convert medium voltage power to 800 VDC for the AI  factories of the future.

Visitors can expect interactive showcases spanning Delta Electronics' AI infrastructure portfolio, including its AI Modular Data Center designed for scalability, flexibility, and compatibility, high-voltage direct current (HVDC) 3.6MW in-row coolant distribution unit (CDU) technology to help manage the thermal demands of high-density AI workloads. The  showcased 800 VDC In-Row Power architecture features 660kW output power, up to 98% AC-DC efficiency, 480kW capacity in battery backup units (BBU), and aluminium capacitors to optimize GPU workloads in next-generation AI data centres. In addition, Delta's prefabricated AI Containerized Data Center (CDC) Solutions deliver up to 60 kW per rack of AI compute within the footprint of a single parking space, as well as a seamlessly integrated Liquid-to-Air CDU system to achieve a PUE as low as 1.19. 

The unveiled Microgrid Solution demonstrates how on-site energy generation resources, energy storage, power conversion, and the new solid state transformer (SST) can support greater power resilience, efficiency and flexibility. Through real time coordination of multiple energy sources, uptime and power quality are maintained during grid connection delays or off-grid operation, with SOFC providing reliable on-site power 24/7. Its prefabricated DC coupled architecture combines SSTs, DC/DC converters and dynamic energy support to reduce conversion stages, enabling the system to respond to fluctuating AI loads while supporting scalable deployment.

At the board-level, Delta's thermal management solutions include a dedicated state-of-the-art cold plate for NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72, with the latest microchannel and multi impinging flow design.
