Goodyear Highlights Wrangler Tyre Options for Ford Everest Drivers

MELBOURNE, Australia, Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- This article was prepared in collaboration with Goodyear.

Choosing tyres for a Ford Everest starts with understanding how the vehicle is typically used. While driving habits vary between owners, many Everest drivers use their vehicles for family road trips, towing, commuting and weekend adventures, making the right tyre choice dependent on how and where the vehicle is driven most often.

For drivers who mainly travel on highways, regional roads and around town, choosing a replacement tyre that prioritises comfort, wet-weather confidence and long-distance durability may be more appropriate than selecting a tyre designed primarily for more demanding off-road use.

Choosing the right tyre starts with how you use your SUV every day.

Start With Your Driving Habits

Before replacing your tyres, think about the roads your Everest spends most of its time on.

If your driving is mainly on highways, regional roads and around town, you'll likely benefit from a tyre that prioritises:

• Ride comfort
• Wet-weather confidence
• Long-distance durability
• Low road noise
• Stable highway performance

If your adventures regularly take you onto gravel roads, campsites or rougher terrain, additional all-terrain capability may be worth considering.

Highway Touring: Wrangler Fortitude HT

For Everest owners who primarily drive on highways, suburban streets and regional roads, the Goodyear Wrangler Fortitude HT is designed to help deliver a comfortable, durable and dependable driving experience.

It may be a suitable option for drivers who regularly:

• Commute during the week
• Travel long distances on highways
• Tow caravans or trailers
• Take family road trips
• Want a quiet, comfortable highway tyre with dependable wet-road performance

For many Everest owners, a highway-terrain tyre may provide a suitable balance of comfort, durability and everyday usability.

Mixed Driving: Wrangler AT SilentTrac

If your driving regularly includes highway travel as well as light unsealed tracks, the Wrangler AT SilentTrac is designed to provide greater all-terrain capability while maintaining everyday comfort and low road noise.

It may be a suitable option for drivers who enjoy camping, touring and exploring regional areas without regularly tackling demanding off-road terrain.

Tougher Off-Road Conditions

Drivers who frequently encounter rocky tracks, deeper mud or more demanding off-road conditions may benefit from a more rugged tyre.

The Wrangler DuraTrac RT and Wrangler Territory RT are designed for increased traction and durability in more challenging environments.

Mud-terrain tyres should generally be reserved for vehicles that regularly tackle deep mud, ruts and more extreme off-road conditions, as they often involve trade-offs in road noise and everyday driving comfort.

Choosing the Right Wrangler Tyre

The most suitable tyre depends on how your Ford Everest is used.

• Mostly highways and regional roads? The Wrangler Fortitude HT is designed for highway comfort, durability and wet-weather confidence.
• A mix of highway driving and light off-road use? The Wrangler AT SilentTrac is designed to provide additional versatility without compromising everyday comfort.
• Frequent rugged off-road driving? Consider the Wrangler DuraTrac RT or Wrangler Territory RT for increased traction and durability.

Choosing the right tyre isn't about buying the toughest-looking option—it's about matching the tyre to the roads you drive most often.

Before Replacing Your Tyres

Before purchasing new tyres, always confirm:

• Tyre size
• Load rating
• Speed rating
• Vehicle fitment
• Local product availability

A Goodyear authorised retailer can help you select the most suitable Wrangler tyre for your Ford Everest based on your driving requirements.
