Orbbec Featured at ROBOTWORLD 2026, Supporting Robotics Innovation in South Korea

GOYANG, South Korea, Nov. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Orbbec, a leading robotics and AI vision technology company listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, is featured at ROBOTWORLD 2026 in Goyang, South Korea. Its Korean partner is displaying Orbbec's 3D perception and real-world data collection solutions, which attracted strong interest from opening-day visitors.

Advancing Robotic Perception and Real-World Data Collection

For logistics, service and industrial robots, Orbbec's Gemini 330 series combines proprietary on-chip depth processing with active and passive stereo vision, delivering reliable indoor and outdoor 3D perception for navigation and obstacle avoidance. The compact Gemini 305 provides close-range depth and color imaging for object recognition and precise grasping, optimized for wrist-mounted applications on robotic arms and humanoids.

For Physical AI, Orbbec's independently developed Robot-Free Data Collection Hardware Platform enables scalable collection of high-quality, synchronized, multimodal real-world interaction data without dedicated robots. It combines standardized devices, calibration and synchronization capabilities, Ego Viewer software, and Contract Manufacturing (CM) and Joint Design Manufacturing (JDM) services. Featured devices include EGO for first-person human demonstrations and WristCam for complementary views of hand-object interactions, supporting imitation learning and dexterous manipulation.

Dual Manufacturing Bases Strengthen Global Supply

Orbbec's self-operated intelligent manufacturing base in China supports precision assembly, calibration, quality control and mass production. Its RVMC facility in Vietnam, spanning over 100,000 square meters and scheduled to begin operations in 2027, will manufacture 3D vision sensors and smart hardware for overseas markets. Together, the two bases will strengthen production flexibility and global supply reliability.

Proven Market Presence and Local Support

According to Frost & Sullivan, Orbbec ranked first globally by revenue in robotic 3D vision perception in 2025, with a 29% market share. Interact Analysis reported a 72% share of South Korea's commercial and industrial mobile robot 3D vision market in 2024.

Orbbec has served over 1,600 robotics companies worldwide, including Chinese humanoid robotics companies and projects such as UBTECH, AgiBot and X-Humanoid. In South Korea, Twinny uses two Gemini 335 cameras on its NarGo logistics robots for navigation and obstacle avoidance, while RoboCare uses Gemini 335L in its SILBOT cognitive-training system to track users' movements.

An NVIDIA Partner Network member, Orbbec has integrated more than ten cameras with NVIDIA Jetson, while its Gemini 330 series is fully compatible with NVIDIA Jetson Thor. Supported by local sales and technical services, Orbbec helps Korean manufacturers accelerate robotics development and deployment.
