888poker Continues as Headline Sponsor of the 2013 PGA EuroPro Tour

The PGA EuroPro Tour is proud to announce 888.com's poker brand, 888poker, has renewed their sponsorship for the 2013 season of the PGA EuroPro Tour.

In 2012, the EuroPro Tour was sponsored by 888poker. Due to the success of this sponsorship, 888poker is excited to build a further brand presence by continuing as this year's main title sponsor. New promotions and events will be added to this year's sponsorship in hopes to bring together the fans and players of the tour with all that the 888poker experience offers.

Founded in 2001, the EuroPro Tour is a partnership between the PGA and Matchroom Sport and has proven a fertile breeding ground for players seeking to strive to reach the top of the game.

The PGA EuroPro Tour has established itself as Europe's leading developmental golf tour with the top five in the Order of Merit at the end of each season advancing to the Challenge Tour, and a number of golfers have progressed to play on the main European Tour alongside Europe's elite.

Furthermore, the EuroPro Tour is a rewarding monetary platform for the successful players, with 2012 Order of Merit winner Paul Maddy collecting more than £32,000 in winnings.

Ryder Cup winners Nicolas Colsaerts and Ross Fisher are former PGA EuroPro Tour members, as are 2010 Open winner Louis Oosthuizen and 2011 Masters winner Charl Schwartzel.

In addition, Scott Jamieson, Thomas Aiken and Jamie Donaldson, who have all won European Tour events in 2013, have also played on the PGA EuroPro Tour in the past.
