Young worker leaders and activists from the American Federation of Government Employees and other labor organizations rallied for a $15 minimum wage outside McDonalds and other corporations while in Chicago for the AFL-CIO's Next Up Summit in March. AFGE wants the federal government to lead by example and raise the minimum wage for its own workers to $15 an hour.
