AccelPath, Inc. Announces Acquisition of Premium Tea Company

NEW YORK, Nov. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- AccelPath, Inc a publicly reporting company under the ticker symbol (OTC Pink/ACLP), (hereinafter the "Company") announces that it has agreed to acquire a 70% interest in Village Tea Company Distribution, Inc. ("Village Tea"). Village Tea Company Distribution, Inc, ( Village Tea) headquartered in National Harbor, MD is the owner of the Village Tea Company brand of premium loose leaf teas and tea accessories. Village Tea, sources high-quality, unique teas that are blended to create distinct flavor combinations which are packaged in a variety of creative and earth-friendly ways for wholesale and retail sales. The brand has been sold in several major retailers in North America including Vitamin Shoppe®, Whole Foods® Markets, Winners®, HomeSense®, Akins/Chamberlin® Natural Foods Markets and many other independent specialty and grocery store retailers.  Village Tea products are also available through ecommerce retailers such as Amazon, the company's own website, www.villageteaco.com and other online retailers.

Village Tea's current management team will remain in place, with founder and current president of Village Tea, Martin Ekechukwu, continuing in his role as president and creative director of the brand, as well as a member of the company's board of directors. Janon Costley will also maintain his role as the company's CEO and board member. "Both Martin and Janon have done a wonderful job in moving the Village Tea brand forward and they will continue to play an extremely pivotal role in guiding the product development and sales efforts for Village Tea moving forward," states Gilbert Steedley the CEO of ACLP.
