ARLINGTON, Va., Sept. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Acquisition Solutions Inc. (ASI), public-sector consultants specializing in performance management solutions, today announced it has formally changed its name to ASI Government. This change follows through on the announcement made Monday, July 19, 2010, and is the next step in affirming the company's expansion into management disciplines adjacent to acquisition. Earlier this year, ASI purchased the majority of ICOR Partners, LLC, gaining considerable information technology (IT) portfolio and program management capabilities.
"The name ASI Government reflects our firm's commitment to a broader array of research, consulting, training and tools to help government agencies deliver better results," said ASI President and CEO Anne Reed. "We've made significant investments over the last few years to augment our industry-leading acquisition practice with additional capabilities in complementary disciplines such as organizational development, IT management, and program and portfolio management."
"With this broader capability, we have a unique ability to integrate the management disciplines required by today's public-sector leaders to achieve their program performance objectives," said Reed.
ASI's new logo was designed by its employees and developed with significant input from its customers. "With so many longtime clients, we thought it was important to get their input as our branding evolved," said Jeremy Grant, ASI's chief development officer. "Out of four finalists, our clients overwhelmingly thought our new logo best preserved the heritage of our early days as Acquisition Solutions, while also embodying the broader array of performance-enhancing solutions we now offer."
The name change is effective today, and it will be accompanied over the next few months by a media campaign to raise awareness of the new ASI.
