Allegiance Software Unveils New Webinar Series to Help Broadcasters with Fundraising

FARGO, N.D., Dec. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Allegiance Software has great news for public and religious stations in need of advice on how to increase fundraising productivity. Beginning January 2016, Allegiance will release a new webinar series, "Proven Practices in Fundraising," that focuses on successful fundraising techniques on the first Wednesday of each month. The pilot broadcast will take place January 6, 2016.

These free 30-minute webinars will be presented by Virginia Dambach, a high-level fundraiser and trainer in the public broadcast sector with 19 years of experience in the industry. Each webinar will be based on research, current trends and fundraising recommendations in various areas that Virginia has implemented personally.

"Fundraising is extremely important in religious and public broadcasting stations," Dambach said. "Without the support of donors and members, most stations would not have the resources to fulfill their service mission."

By focusing on increasing net revenues through donors, these webinars will help nonprofits see the results they seek and offer a learning opportunity for those who tune in, according to Dambach.

Each month will cover a new topic. Beginning with January, the focus will be on additional gifts and lapsed solicitation management. The webinar will provide answers to questions such as, "How often should organizations ask for additional gifts from donors?" and "Which media is most effective - mail or email?" February's broadcast will cover solicitation and campaign tracking and March's session will discuss renewal and sustainer management systems in order to increase donor retention.
