Announcing New How-To Video for John Deere 2 Cylinder PTO Repair

LENNON, Mich., March 12, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Steiner Tractor Parts partnered with a writer for Green Magazine to produce how to videos to inform and train the consumers on a tricky John Deere 2 cylinder PTO repair.  

Steiner Tractor Parts sells many parts to help in the repair of the PTO on these machines, but found that customers were having difficulty with the installation.  

Tyler Buchheit, a well-known John Deere tractor restoration expert, shot the video in his workshop in Illinois. He also wrote a handy tip sheet for consumers to print and have with them in their own shop.
Knowledge about the operation, maintenance, and repair of these antique machines is lost as older tractors are replaced with newer models.  Steiner Tractor Parts has been working with Tyler and other restoration experts to bring this knowledge into the next century with the use of online video and downloadable tip sheets.  

"The design of the Waterloo built two cylinder tractors is unusual since the engine is mounted horizontally and it lies on its side with the cylinder head pointed towards the front of the tractor.  The flywheel is on the left side of the tractor and the hand clutch on the right side.
