Aon Announces New Appointments for its Health Care Practice

PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Aon Risk Solutions, the global risk management business of Aon Corporation (NYSE: AON), today announced the promotion of two of its Health Care Practice leaders as well as a new addition.

Dominic Colaizzo has been named chairman, Aon Risk Solutions' Health Care Practice. In his previous role as managing director of the practice, Colaizzo served the complex needs of the nation's largest and most specialized health care institutions. Highly regarded for his expertise on medical professional liability and alternative risk financing, he collaborated with clients, colleagues and carriers in the U.S., London and Bermuda markets to develop comprehensive risk management programs, best practices and alternative risk management solutions that continue to inspire efforts within the practice and across the industry.

In his new position, Colaizzo will continue to serve clients and co-lead the practice with a focus on meeting client needs in coordination with Ron Calhoun, managing director, Aon Risk Solutions' Health Care Practice. Calhoun's focus will remain on developing new business and innovative solutions as well as collaboration with Aon Hewitt as the firm advises clients regarding health care reform. Together, Colaizzo and Calhoun will coordinate service delivery from Aon's various business units to help clients manage the broad spectrum of risks associated with the rapidly changing world of health care and oversee the integration of service provided by colleagues across the U.S. to support the practice's growing and diverse health care client base.

Michael Zuckerman has been promoted to managing director and Northeast regional practice leader of Aon Risk Solutions' Health Care Practice. Previously, Zuckerman served as managing director of the practice's strategic accounts initiative, where he focused on alternative risk solutions for clients and professional development opportunities for colleagues. Zuckerman will work closely with Colaizzo and Calhoun to bring risk management solutions including alternative risk transfer to health care clients within the Northeast region.

Joining Zuckerman in the Northeast region, Margie O'Keefe McCutcheon has been appointed senior vice president of Aon Risk Solutions' Health Care Practice. With more than 20 years of experience in the industry, McCutcheon was most recently with Marsh as a client executive and broker.
