Arizona Flower Market Launches "Flowers for Food" Drive to Raise 10,000 Cans of Food for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank

PHOENIX, Nov. 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Arizona Flower Market is partnering with local family owned flower farm Arango Green Growers to raise food donations for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. This year Arizona Flower Market is hosting its annual "Flowers for Food" donation drive by giving away 10,000 stems of sunflowers in exchange for collecting 10,000 food items by Thanksgiving. As an effort to pay it forward any customer who donates food will receive up to 2 free bunches of beautiful California grown sunflowers. Each person donating five non-perishable food items will receive a 5-stem bunch of sunflowers, compliments of Arizona Flower Market.  If a customer brings in ten items, they can receive two free bunches. The event starts Friday November 18^th, and runs through Wednesday, November 23^rd 2016.

Flowers for Food Event Details: Arizona Flower Market will be giving away free bunches of California grown sunflowers to every customer that brings food items to the Market during regular business hours beginning Friday, November 18^th, through Wednesday, November 23^rd,  while supplies last and there is no purchase necessary to receive the free flowers. Customers will receive 1 bunch of sunflowers for 5 non-perishable food items. If you bring in 10 items, you can receive 2 sunflower bunches. Limit 2 Bunches per person.
