ASQ to Join Forces with UBM Canon Events for 2015
Integrated Quality Management Trainings to be Offered at Six Trade Events
SANTA MONICA, Calif., Jan. 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- ASQ, the American Society for Quality, has signed an agreement with UBM Canon to present intensive one-day and two-day trainings on quality processes and management at six UBM Canon trade events in 2015. The first of these will be at the largest advanced manufacturing event in the country, taking place February 10-12, 2015 at the Anaheim Convention Center.

In addition to the Anaheim event, two-day Integrated Quality Management trainings will be conducted at the UBM Canon events, in New York June 9-11, and in Toronto June 16-18 . These sessions will familiarize participants with the latest tools and techniques for monitoring and managing best practices in the workplace. Trainings will also assist attendees in developing a draft action plan to implement. Those who complete the course will receive 1.40 CEUs (Continuing Education Units).

One-day ASQ quality workshops will be offered at the UBM Canon events May 6-7, 2015 in Boston, October 13-14, 2015 in Houston, and November 18-19, 2015 in Orlando.
The Anaheim event launching the ASQ trainings, includes Medical Design & Manufacturing West (MD&M West), now celebrating its 30th year, WestPack, for the packaging industry, ATX West, featuring automation and assembly, Pacific Design & Manufacturing, showcasing the latest technologies, such as 3D printing, PLASTEC West, highlighting the plastics industry, Electronics West,AeroCon, for aviation and aerospace, and the new Quality Expo.
