Dr. Crawford will serve as the institute's Medical Director of Oncofertility and Fertility Preservation. Along with an empathetic nature that always appeals to her patients, Dr. Crawford brings expertise in advanced fertility care and skills in minimally invasive surgery to the institute. But her importance to the institute goes far beyond her experience with egg freezing and fertility preservation.
"I strongly believe that excellent patient care incorporates both evidence-based medicine and a sincere desire to help people, which is why I'm excited to join the Austin Fertility Institute," says Dr. Crawford. "I enjoy developing close connections with my patients, while also using my training to help them achieve their dreams of having a family."
Dr. Crawford's addition to the medical team expands the institute's ability to help many more people achieve pregnancy. She and Dr. Moghadam will both provide care to patients at both our North and South Austin office locations.
"Each of us at Austin Fertility Institute take great pride in making certain that patients are treated like an individual and that their concerns are being met in a courteous and timely manner," says Dr. Moghadam. "Dr. Crawford supports our philosophy of providing all of our patients compassionate and personalized care and we're excited to have someone of her caliber join our experienced team."
Dr. Crawford recently completed a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of North Carolina, after finishing her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
