Beceem Releases 4G Smartphone Toolkit at CTIA

Live demonstrations of this platform will be shown by appointment at Beceem's booth #3746 at this week's CTIA trade show.

Beceem's high-performance BCSM250 WiMAX modem provides advanced 4G wireless capabilities, including 4G - 3G multi-mode and session handover as well as WiMAX-WiFi coexistence, and D2's breakthrough mCUE® converged communications client provides the VoIP/SIP solution with multi-radio call handover capabilities.  Taken together, the companies provide a complete turnkey solution that gives OEMs and ODMs the key building blocks for a truly Smart 4G phone that supports simultaneous Voice/Data sessions on different radios and enables VoIP services with multi-radio and multi-standard handover capability.
